Several times in the recent past, Dr. Andrew Levy has been lecturing at the International Cartilage Repair and Joint Preservation society on the importance of treating the subchondral bone in arthritic conditions. The focus was on avoiding metal replacement options by injecting calcium phosphate into the bone below the joint. Dr Levy demonstrated up to 7yr follow up of these procedures.
